Not sure where to start or what to do next. I Have a '90 750IL that is constantly, er randomly overheating. I've replaced the water pump, radiator, fan clutch, heater core and replaced the thin plastic flow-back line from the top of the radiator to the reservoir tank with a larger diameter coolant line. Could it all just be that the reservoir tank (or cap...both plastic) got too hot and expanded and doesn't properly seal? I'm at a loss...The pressure has been so high that it has shot the cap off nearly 30 feet in the air. Replaced the cap but still running hot...coolant tank "whistles."


This car is amazing. Fast. Fun to drive...but shiz is so expensive for it. Thinking I may just sell it and if I do would like to sell it to an enthusiast rather than someone who won't appreciate this 3-ton speed demon.
