Ok so today i was driving home and looked down at my OBC to notice something I've never noticed...

Ok so today i was driving home and looked down at my OBC to notice something I've never noticed before. Above the am/pm of the clock was something that looked like a volume indicator or something like WiFi signal. I have no idea what is is but maybe someone on here might know? Heres a picture:




And my second question is; if i plug just the black plug from my 11 button OBC into an 18 button OBC and just ignore the white plug, will i get all the functionality of a regular 11 button OBC, just not be able to use the extra 7 buttons?
